Recently the Gas Technology Institute was commissioned to upgrade a core application that is used to calculate greenhouse gas emissions - GHGCalc. This key piece of software is a standalone MS Windows-based application that is purchased by members of GTI and used at these member's facilities to inventory greenhouse gas emissions.
Although to date Adeas has done much in preparing marketing materials for GHGCalc and its sister products GLYCalc and HAPCalc, working on the core code was a product of GTI and its other engineering partners. It turned out that our programming background was a perfect synnergy to help this product move to release quickly.
With our many years of experience in traditional as well as MS Excel programming we were able to assist in this programs release. External Excel analysis modules were created and the help system edited and recompiled for the new version. This additional help from Adeas ensured that GHGCalc 1.2 made its release in a timely fashion and allowed us to showcase our programming talent to the client.
